The Evolution of Homosexuality

This anti-male-antibody hypothesis would not be the same mechanism that is responsible for the in-utero hormonal exposure (high testosterone levels) that favour the development of lesbianism-oriented brains.

Note that natural selection will not reduce the frequency of any genes that have either neutral or beneficial impacts on the production of viable offspring. These offspring will, in turn, potentially transmit some recombination of parental genes. Specifically, the mothers of gay males are often highly fecund, so it is reproductive survival (and not merely maternal survival) that counts in transmission of those genes that may or may interact with other factors (male-specific proteins).
